MN Cabin Rental Info

Welcome to our lake home! We live in Minneapolis, MN but vacation to our cabin (more like a lake home!) year ‘round because we love it so much. We rent it out just a few weeks per year to help pay the property taxes. :)

You and your family will love our 400 feet of private lake shore, a sandy beach, and a crystal clear lake that's great for swimming and even better for fishing. We have a paddle boat, inner-tubes, dock, and a boat lift. Boat, jet-ski, and canoe rentals are nearby. Our gradually sloping property and water depth is great for children. The entire lake home interior is finished with beautiful bass wood on the walls and vaulted ceiling and has custom made pine furniture throughout. The master bedroom with a king size bed and bathroom is in the loft and overlooks the main floor kitchen and living room. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. The second bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom are also on the main floor. The third bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed is in the beautifully finished basement.

There are two living room areas that have a large flat screen TV with cable, over 150 current movies/DVDs, a grand piano, a comfy pull-out bed, and an incredible panoramic view of the lake. This spacious but cozy 3000 square foot house is surrounded by a huge deck that overlooks Lake Belle Taine. The basement has a walk-out to the lake, only 20 yards away.

Our lake home is at the end of a peninsula, gets no drive-by traffic, and has thick mature trees throughout our property so that you have total privacy. We are one mile from the Heartland Trail (50 miles of paved trail!), and we are just minutes away from many great restaurants, horseback riding, the Forestedge winery, canoe outfitters, golf and unique shopping. After a day of fun you can light up a camp fire in the fire pit and watch the sunset.
